When our holistic vet, Dr Lenoir, asked us what food the dogs eat I paused before answering. Did she really want to know all the supplements and toppings? The kibble is N&D Farmina Ancestral grains and ProPac, but then the toppings range from salmon to sirloin, turkey to lamb, sweet potatoes to carrots, beans to kale, yogurt to raw goat milk. And the supplements, well, everything from salmon oil to colostrum and vitamins. So, even though the toppings vary, I thought a video of our morning routine was in order. They also eat dinner and their snacks are a whole different story, but mostly involve cooked and dehydrated meat or raw freeze dried food. The holistic vet said that some of their cancer patients only eat raw meat and raw cabbage. Raw diet is what they recommend .... but I read that including some kibble helps clean their teeth. So, the verdict is still out. With our routine, I feel like they get the best of both worlds.
