Log:
4/26/25 - free shaped target pad; added 'front' (she sat and stood) position (not "come front'); attention (got better - wouldn't do at first); fetch (tried with penguin toy first, no go -- then used the small kong ball with holes, filled with treats -- free shaped, tried staring at ball (didn't work) but she eventually go to where she would nose the ball -- lightbulb mostly went off but let's see what happens next session; pushups - sit is good, she would not do down ... we tried to shape toward approximations -- next time perhaps try under the leg). She snuck down to studio when I was going to practice, so I put her in the xpen where she waited for an hour or so. I should have let her potty before we trained, b/c she did potty (toward end of training session) on carpet. She also peed in studio upon first entering (near the toilet) .... next time, enter using a leash. (ofcourse it wasn't planned for her to sneak down lol).
We have had rally sessions outside before. She is an enthusiastic student - smart - does NOT like to be petted and such for reward. Loves treats. She needs more "energized" tricks I think.
