All Pickwick puppies have to master certain skills before leaving for their forever homes.  Through our Star Puppy Academy training program, they work on things like house training, loose-leash walking, crate training, and master skills such as "leave it", "sit", paws up, get on, get in, drop, watch me, and even fun tricks like spin, bow, shake, balance beam, circus dog, and play the piano. In fact, they master enough tricks to earn an AKC Novice Tricks title before they even go to their homes around 12 weeks of age (sometimes closer to 24 weeks if we are letting a couple of puppies grow-out as hopeful possible show prospects). The night before "gotcha day", we make a little video of them showing off some of their skills as a keepsake for us and their new families.

Gus is a brilliant singleton and his mom has worked hard to teach him home manners. He has even had in house trainers who worked with him and he is a superstar now.

Moose conquered NYC and was a star student in his classes in Manhattan. He is now the big brother of a tiny human ;)

Rose is an amazing family pet. Her human siblings say she is their therapy dog!

Nessie (new name Gabby) has earned every level of tricks titles possible and also does fastcat and agility. Her mom has worked so hard with her.

Piper is now a certified therapy dog!

Buz (new name Myles) earned a CGC, Tricks title, Star Puppy, and other things. His parents worked so hard with him and if AKC still had the "Achiever Dog" award he probably would have won this!

Buddy's new name is Murphy and he is a rockstar in his home in North Carolina.

Stella lives with Hooch (Nic) from a different litter and rocks her household in Florida . . .

Scarlett won all sorts of awards at dog shows before leaving us to join her family in Virginia Beach. She is an amazing pug with a heart bigger than planet mars (figuratively speaking ... she's very healthy).

Elly May's new name is Aspen and she rocked her Puppy K class in California!

Horace (new name Bear) thinks he owns Greenwich Village in NYC.

Risa was renamed Amber, but now she has a 3rd name with her 2nd family as her first family surrendered her to a kill shelter. Luckily she was rescued by a rescue group (though we were never notified at pickwick Pugs despite the fact that we are the primary contacts on her microchip). She now lives with an amazing human in Colorado and is an amazing host to her mom's business.

Shorty lives in Birmingham with a family of 2 kids and 2 dads and he is very well mannered we are told!

Maggie lives in Huntsville, Alabama with a pediatrician mom and engineer dad. They took her to all sorts of training classes at the amazing Huntsville Obedience Training Club and she did so well!

Whitaker (new name Bumi) is now an agility pug and also does fastcat . . .

Demelza (new name Suzy) is a certified therapy dog in Tennessee!

Ross (new name Winston) is a loverboy and even had a stint as a show dog at the Greenville, SC winning several ribbons! He lives in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.

Caroline's (new name Charli) mom has taught her all sorts of things and can even paddle board! She lives in Oregon and is living a grand life.

Griffin lives with his Vet tech mom in Auburn, Alabama and does fastcat and agility! He also received his CGC, Star Puppy, and other titles. Go team Griffin!

Dwight (new name Murphy) now lives in Wisconsin and is an amazing and loving family member!

Petunia completed all sorts of training and classes in Mexico, and now she has traveled with her mom to England while she (mom) completes her graduate degrees.
