The Mighty Macintosh was our first bred by champion. He was a singleton (we suspect his siblings died because of too much anesthesia during the C-section as vet was delayed by over 40 minutes before even starting the procedure and they had to reapply the red betadine stuff twice while waiting for him). But we were blessed with our gorgeous "first born" son ;)!
And can we say gorgeous again? He has one of the most beautiful faces we've ever seen on a pug. Truly exceptional! And pigment for days. Macintosh finished his AKC championship FAST out of the puppy class. He continued to grow more and more handsome. And then grow some more ;) By age 2, his chest and head blossomed and WOW what a handsome champion. Alas, he also decided to grow in length and simply ended up being too long to be a good sire. Plus his rear assembly just wasn't what we wanted (too straight in the stifles and some other issues). Therefore, alas, Macintosh was neutered and is not part of our breeding program.

Here he is at a hotel for a dog show around 2019 ... the things you do to entertain yourself when you're bored lol!
Macintosh as a puppy discovering the tunnel!
Wow! The Mighty Macintosh finished his championship at 8 months of age! In just 4 shows he received his majors and all points. We are totally blown away. He's now moved onto working toward his Grand Championship and has already received a major and points toward this, beating out a champion of note (his grandfather!) as well. Macintosh just loves being in the ring and adores spending quality time with his mom and dad at the shows. We just love this boy so much. PDE = N/S; PK = N/N. He will be getting his OFA and other remaining health tests at age 2, summer 2019.
Macintosh loves to be near his humans. The closer the better!
As one of the talented Painting Pugcassos, Macintosh creates his latest masterpiece, "Splash of Joy"
Update: We made a very hard decision Spring 2022. Macintosh has started a new chapter in his life. He is happiest, being a singleton, as a solo pug and he really does not like the other boy dogs. (He loves the puppies and girls, but he prefers a human or 2). So, an opportunity for him arose for him to live with an amazing couple in Florida. He would have such an incredible purpose (another story for another day) and when the couple showed up to meet him it was almost as if Macintosh had known him his entire life. Like Mac knew this was his calling and he was ready for it. Can't explain it but it was definitely a plan concocted in heaven. Speaking of heaven, I told Macintosh this morning that I plan to see him in heaven one day and hope to be reunited then.
Macintosh has turned out to be the most amazing therapy dog giving his new owners all sorts of love and devotion while they deal with battling Leukemia. It is almost as if Macintosh knows he was born for this role and you can tell how committed he is in these photos! He also really enjoys being the only pug in the grumble (they also own a senior female lab). Macintosh, we miss you every second of every day but we are SO proud of you in your new chapter of your life! Thank you for sharing all your love with us for your first years ... we will love you forever.

Macintosh has earned his AKC Trick Dog Novice Title! He actually got a passing score with one routine at the Pug Dog Club of America Nationals October, 2018 but we had to do the test again in Tallahassee, FL because we lost the evaluator's sheet :) Because he's so talented, we did a different routine the 2nd time! What an amazingly smart boy this is!
Macintosh has been such a great half brother to his sisters, summer 2018 from the Thrill on Blueberry Hill Litter. He has learned the word "gentle" and is so tolerant and amazing. We just love this goofy, silly, loving boy so much.
