From our Thrill on Blueberry Hill Litter, born July 13, 2018, Lilly is the pick of the litter (with a 3-way tie, actually, with her 2 sisters. lol). Lilly has had amazing pigment since early on. With a tremendous temperament and brains for days, we are truly blessed, thankful, and thrilled beyond measure to watch her grow and thrive in this world. We do feel God' hand is behind this magnificent litter. We were able to visit with our sister in St. Louis during our stay there. Each evening at dinner, prayers were lifted up for a successful breeding. These prayers were answered and we are so truly grateful.

Lilly Wins Best of Breed, Best of Winners, Winners Bitch, Best of Breed Owner Handler, and Group 3 in Atlanta under judge Randy Garren:

In the temperament tests at 6 weeks, Lilly was the one the evaluator chose as the best for obedience, so we are excited to be doing dual training with Lilly with conformation, rally, and, of course tricks! Here she is at 14 weeks learning "touch" so that she can become the newest member of our "Painting Pugs"!

Indeed, Lilly is so incredibly smart and subsequently is often the star in our Pugiano fundraising act, like our Christmas Special 2023:

Lilly absolutely hates show sites and stressful, loud exhibit hall type environments, so I was incredibly proud of her completing the Tricks title at a large coliseum in front of a large audience! Of course, she nailed her piano playing and rolling on the stool as those are her "signature" Pugiano tricks ;) As much as she hated conformation, I must say I think she enjoyed this outing!

Ever since her temperament evaluation when she was 8 weeks old, we have known that Lilly is a more thoughtful pug. Unlike her sister, Miss Dior, who was a born show girl, Lilly prefers quieter venues and sports such as scent work over conformation. In fact, she truly hated the show ring and her tail would even go down at times at some of the more noisy venues. So, when the pandemic hit, we made the choice that Lilly's obtainment of 15 points toward her championship, plus her many incredible wins like Best in Show, Best of Breed, Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, Best of Breed Owner Handler out of Bred By Class etc., would be enough proof of her merit and exceptionalism.
