Lilibeth easily finished her AKC championship and absolutely loved the show ring. From the start, judges absolutely loved her, and she won best in show twice in her first BPUPs. Her show name is actually very accurate! She is quite precocious, with a heart of gold mixed with a pinch of naughty, and she honestly does cause almost everyone she encounters to smile! One of her huge wins was at a very big show with 28 pugs at the Cherokee Rose Cluster in Atlanta, Georgia, beating out important specials from the puppy class. She truly has the best temperament of most any pug out there and, hello, she is way too smart for her own good (just like her mother, CH Miss Dior and her grandmother, CH KK). Another fun show win memory was when she was in the ring with pretty much every major handler — Esteban Farias and his wife Jennifer, Dolly, Michael Scott and his wife, Hiram, and another handler. And then there was sweet and beautiful Lilibeth puppy at her 1st show in the 6-9 puppy class with her clueless breeder owner handler lol. She still went on to win winners bitch! Trust me, she won that one on her charm and looks alone and NOT her owner handler who still struggles to remember show protocols.

The incomparable handler, Harry Bennett, helped show Lilibeth on several occasions including her major wins at the Atlanta shows and the Greater Atlanta Pug Specialty. Finicky eater that she is, he finally had to go buy her some rotisserie chicken ;) but he showed her to perfection.
We are also grateful to Cheyenne Tippens, another wonderful handler who helped on several occasions. Here she is with Lilibeth at the Group in Atlanta, August 28, 2021, after a last-minute (last-second!) request . . .

Here is Lilibeth with her brother, Myles, when his owners drove down from New York to meetup in the Smoky Mountains! We got to see how beautiful Myles was growing out at around 1 year of age. So handsome with the most amazing parents who have trained him so beautifully.

The only girl with 4 brothers, this beauty’s name, Lilibeth, is a tribute to a wonderful mentor who has so generously helped us over the last few years to help these fragile newborn puppies stay alive and thrive. A blessing for pugs everywhere!

Alas, she most likely would have earned this (since she was winning the Breed, Toy Group, and Best in Show) had they not canceled the Sunday show in Jackson, TN due to weather and flooding in the grooming area or had they not scheduled the BPUP at the same time as the Pugs Breed conformation in Asheville, NC.
