Parker finished his AKC championship easily. He is a gorgeous boy (one of the prettiest faces of pugs we have ever owned) bred by AKC Breeder of Merit, Linda Wright (Wright Pugs) of Michigan, and Carol Zmuda (Triumphant Pugs). He passed all of his genetic health screening tests with flying colors, and he has been an absolute blessing to our grumble. He has also been a remarkable sire for Pickwick Pugs, producing some gorgeous pug puppies with our Poldark Litter (with Lilibeth, CH Pickwick's Show the World How to Smile), Coffeehouse Litter (with Marie Claire, Pickwick's Cotton Candy in the Sky, CGC, RN, RI, and half-brother to Biggie pug who won Westminster), Southern Belle Litter (with Princess Buttercup, Pickwick's Forever is Composed of Nows), Bridgerton Litter, and Beatrix Potter Litter, He produced AKC Champion, Pickwick's Worship the Ground I Walk On (Tory), from the Coffee House litter and Champion Pickwick's Mr. High Falutin' (Mr. Drysdale). Honestly, most all of his progeny would have been able to finish a championship easily. Some of his offspring are also certified therapy pugs and do agility and fastcat.
He is the sweetest pug, with a clear, light coat which is as soft as mink, beautiful face, level top line, neck, and enough leg to make him an amazing hiker. He has a gorgeous double curl, high tailset, nice rear angulation, good front, strong pasterns .... so it is no wonder it was SO EASY to finish his championship (out of the puppy class mind you). He has no allergies ... food or seasonal, has never had an eye injury or problem, he has never had skin problems or an ear infection. (He passed all of his genetic health testing with ease.) Parker has FUN in this world and his enthusiasm is contagious! He gets along with all of our grumble. In our planning ahead, to prevent our line from becoming too tight, it is time to diversify and use other studs. We prefer to include out crosses and only use line-breeding on rare occasions, and only when we know (first-hand) the strengths and weaknesses of multiple generations in the pedigree.
As of 4/23/25, we are starting a search for the perfect home for Parker to enjoy his next chapters in life. These decisions are so difficult to make but necessary so that we do not end up with too many pugs under our roof to care for properly. We are looking for a companion/pet home. Click here for more information. He has produced some gorgeous pugs. Here is the Poldark Litter .... as pups and a few grown-up shots:

Christmas Stocking 2024!!
We owe a tremendous thanks to Harry Bennett who showed Parker for us many times, and finished his championship (for the first time) with a Best of Breed in Perry and Winners. All out of Puppy Class ;)
Here is Parker at his first official show in Tunica, MS where his first win was a 5 point major!
And here is Parker at his 2nd official show in Lawrenceville, Georgia, winning Winners Dog and Best of Winners out of the 6-9 Puppy Class!
Parker's trip to Maryland, New York, and Vermont to finish his Championship (for a 2nd time, due to clerical errors). From tasting his first ice cream, to his first visit to an ocean/beach, hiking in the Adirondacks to see his first waterfall, celebrating his 1st birthday in a hotel room in Vermont, to seeing his (and Amy'!) first black bear, it was a very adventurous trip!
Here is the black bear Amy and Parker encountered in Vermont during his early AM potty outside. The bear was literally yards away from us as it retreated into the woods. (Amy didn't have her glasses on lol).
Parker at his first "BPUP" (4-6 Puppy) . . . .
Parker's first visit to the Great Smoky Mountains!
Here is Parker Jackson's sire, GCHB Shorline's Carmel Apple with Nuts, "Reese":
And here is Parker Jackson's dam, CH Wright's and Double D's Royal Triumphant Gem ("Ruby"):
And here is Parker's Maternal Grandsire . . .
Here are some photos from Parker's 1st night with us after traveling all the way back from the Pug Dog Club of America's nationals in Chicago (and from Michigan before that!) to Alabama! He was tired but you can still see what a sweet and special boy he is!
