What fun we had at the 6 week puppy party for the Christmas Star litter and the New Year's Eve litter. There were 11 puppies total (whew) and they all did SO well. Many many thanks to all of the amazing humans who attended and helped man the different stations. We had yummy food, Doug the Pug decorations!, and tons of puppy snuggles. Pickwick's Casanova in DisguiseLuke (kennel name "Casanova") has done so well in the show ring thanks to his owner, Verlene Miller, who is Luke's dad's breeder. Pending AKC conformation, he finished his championship in Columbiana this past week! He was always the sweetest in the litter, hence his name Casanova, and he is a happy friendly pug at shows. Verlene says he's a funny and goofy pug, too. Luke actually finished awhile back but, due to a clerical error with the superintendant, his championship was unfortunately delayed. Miss Dior, Luke's mom (CH Pickwick's Child, That Hemline's Out of Sight, TKN) now has produced 2 champions! Here is Miss Dior at a show in South Carolina (she tagged along for fun to cheer Lilibeth and Parker on) . . . Luke now joins his sister Lilibeth (CH Pickwick's Show the World How to Smile) as a new AKC Champion. Here is Lilibeth recently winning 2nd place in the Toy Group after winning Best of Breed.
